Join us at Quincy Farm for a chat and book signing with Jeri Neff over her new book: Colorado's Highest; The History of Naming the 14,000-Foot Peaks. This exciting new book details the fascinating history of the discovery and naming of our highest peaks. It is a beautiful coffee table book which has just been released and features John Fielder's incredible photographs of the 14ers, Bob Wogrin's oil paintings as well as historic pen and ink sketches from the 1800s. The complete history of the 14er names has never been written until now and considering the popularity of our highest peaks, this book will definitely fill a void in Colorado's history. The stories of our highest peaks are fascinating - did you know that Mount Evans was not the original name for that magnificent peak? It was christened Mount Rosalie as a romantic gesture and the name stood for 30 years.

Getting to Quincy Farm & Parking

Guests are encouraged to walk or bike to the farm - there is access off the High Line Canal south of Quincy Ave.

Parking is available .2 miles away from the farm at 4000 E. Quincy Ave. (Kent Denver School's dining hall parking lot).

Cars will be allowed into the farm to drop off attendees but only visitors with disability placards will be able to park at the farm.

We are doing the onsite programs under the Tri-County Health Guidelines, so our on-site classes are smaller to accommodate the Covid-19 guidelines.
